2025 – After a three-day trial, successfully defended the validity of a Deed and claims for civil theft, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and unjust enrichment. Prior to trial, prevailed on a motion to dismiss several claims, which resulted in an award of attorneys’ fees and costs being assessed against the opposing party.
2025 – Successfully reformed a will resulting in our clients inheriting a couple of million dollars they would not otherwise have inherited.
2025 – Won appeal after an oral argument to the Court of Appeals, concerning the invalidation of an amended trust due to undue influence.
2024 – Defended the validity of a will executed by an elderly woman with dementia who had been hospitalized one week prior to executing her will. We settled the case with an extremely favorable result for our clients.
2023 – After a 3 1/2 day trial, successfully invalidated an amended and restated trust due to undue influence.
2023 – Successfully defended the validity of a beneficiary designation after a 1/2 day hearing.
